How to pass your exams.


Passing exams is what everyone wishes for, however, achieving this has proved to be an obstacle to many. Slizzed having observed this trend has decided to write on a way to overcome it. All you need do is practice these steps:


1. Calm down:
What tends to cause failure in exams for many is fear. So, you've got to overcome fear first in order your pass your exams.

2. Find out what areas to cover:
It's best you become friends with your teachers. Not only will this help fight the fear you've got for that subject. It will also create a platform where you could ask them for areas of concentration. They'll definitely give you a tip on what to read!. This will help you utilize your study time wisely too.

3. Create a study plan:
You'll need to create a timetable for yourself. It's best you repeat more of the subjects you've got problems with or those you find challenging.

4. Discover your reading style:
Everyone is gifted with a reading style. For you it may be imagination or probably singing. Use of cards do work too, find your own reading method. If you've got any problems doing this, feel free to ask slizzed.

5. Take notes and ask questions:
Research shows that students who ask questions in class tends to perform greatly in class than those who don't. Don't think your dull. If you don't understand something ask your teachers, they'll explain more. Also, never forget to take notes of those things your teacher emphasizes more when teaching. It may come up in your exams!.

6. Gather resources: Anything that helps you study better is your resource. It may be your textbooks, study cards, even your relations. Gather them before you start studying.

7. Ask for help:
Find a friend you can study with, it helps in making studying fun and easier. Forming a study group is great too.

8. Find memorizing techniques:
These may be use of abbreviations to study. Something like MR NIGER D works for characteristics of living things. You could also use rhymes. Find anyone that works for you.

9. Sneak in study:
Short study periods are more effective than long study periods. Go over the notes you took earlier. It helps refresh your memory.

10. Reward yourself:
You could always reward yourself with a soccer game after completing your plans. It serves as a motivation.

11. Organize yourself:
This helps in keeping you focused. Being scattered before your exams can make you forget what you've read. So, always organize yourself for the exams you've got. Fond all the materials you'll need and keep them.

12. Eat properly:
Make sure you eat before your exams and properly too. Eating something bad can disturb you during the exams making you want to use the toilet. Also not eating will make you hungry. All these will end up in you failing your exams. So, eat and eat properly.

13. Get enough sleep:
After reading and practicing for your exams. Make sure you get enough sleep. 8 hrs is OK. This will help calm and refresh your brain.

14. Arrive early for exams:
Arriving at the exams Center before the exams commences is best. This will make you calm and prepared for the exams.

How to develop basic soccer Dribbling Skills.


Soccer is a game of passion indeed. People do have passion for it but not the skills. Fortunately, it's a possibility to develop this skills and all you need do is nurture that passion you've got, after this, be looking forward to being that star on the field.

BASIC DRIBBLING SKILLS

1. Make gentle touches with the ball:
Making gentle contact with the ball gives you a better control over the ball. Also, the more you touch the ball, the better advantage you've got at controlling it's movement.

2. Keep the ball close to your feet:
This gives the defender a more difficult time getting the ball from you. Keep your knees bent and your body in between the defender and the ball. This is called shielding.

3. Use the fore edge of your feet to control the ball:
Use the leading edge of your feet to dribble. This helps you maneuver the ball easily. Moving the ball in between the insides of your feet is a nice skill.

4. Have a centralized view:
Don't put all your attention on the ba. Keep your site in between the ball and the rest of the field.

5. Change your dribbling pace:
Don't have a predictable dribbling pattern. This will make defenders get the ball from you easily. Learn how to change your dribbling pace, it makes the defenders confused.

6. Use your body to shield the ball:
Use your body parts, your shoulders, arms, legs to protect the ball. Never, push or kick your opponent in the process.

DRIBBLING EXERCISE

1. Practice dribbling:
Try galloping the ball, while running and keeping the ball a few feet from your foot. Use the fore edge of your feet to roll the ball. Do this in a field!.

2. Dribble with speed:
Try your dribbling practice and increase in speed daily. Do this while your feet touches the ball in every five to eight steps you make.

3. Dribble through obstacles:
Arrange things atleast 3 feets apart from each other. They'll serve as your opponents on the field. The only thing is they are static. Try Rolling the ball through this obstacles in a wavy like pattern.
4. Practice cross over Dribbles:
Dribble through the obstacles while trying to left the ball over them.

5. Practice inside-outside dribbles:
Try moving the ball forward and backward while moving towards an obstacle.

6. Practice roll inside dribbles:
While running towards an obstacle try moving it leftward or the other way(right). This confuses the defenders.

7. Practice passing the ball forward and backward without obstacles:
As the instructions goes. Try practicing your dribbles without obstacles.

How to make your face fresh (only three things to do).


Having a younger skin is what everyone cherishes. If you don't, that's just too off dear. Most of you guys asked I write on this, making your skin look younger. Well its finally here, as always just be patient while you wait for results.

PRACTICE GOOD SKIN CARE.

1. Wash your face:
Washing your face as so far proved to be really good, not just on making your face look younger, but it helps in clearing pimples. Wash your face twice a day. Do this using a product that's oil free, with neutral PH and rinse with lukewarm water.

2. Don't over wash:
Washing is good but don't over do this. Washing your face too much can rid it of oil making your face irritated and look less younger. Wash your face no more than twice a day.

3. Apply moisturizers:
Do this to help boost the production of collagen and elastin. Slizzed advices use of oil free moisturizers.

How to stay motivated in school.


Things have been going smoothly with you in school, started up quite well. You were having good grades and everything. Infact you started with all amount of determination. Then suddenly that zeal you got just burned out?. Usually it's not easy getting motivated again. There are a few things you've got to know in order to achieve this. That's exactly the things slizzed is gonna share with you.

CREATING VALUE FOR SCHOOL

1. Always think of how you want your life to be before going to bed:
Thinking about your future really helps a lot. Probably writing down the things you'd like to achieve when your an adult will help keep that fire burning. Just remember, you can't achieve these dreams you've got, without school.

2. Make fiends with same dream:
Try making friends with people you see have the same dream as you do. That's like someone you know likes school. Associating yourself with people that hate school will definitely make you hate school too. Just pick your friends wisely, they determine your future sweetheart!.

 PREPARING FOR SUCCESS.

1. Make a schedule for studying:
Draft out a time table for yourself. This doesn't mean, timetable for reading. This includes the things you'll do. Like shopping, going on an outing with a friend. Having an organised life is a really great step towards success in life, generally. So create a schedule for yourself, anything you didn't plan for, don't do it!. Except it's an emergency.

2. Maintain your schedule:
It's a piece of cake drafting out a schedule no doubt. However, adhering to it is quite difficult. Get a calendar or maybe you could use your mobile phone. Set reminders for yourself, when the alarm goes off. Having created an imaginary future for yourself, thinking of that life should give you the courage you need to leave what ever your  doing and listen to the alarm.

3. Have a decent studying place:
If where you read is all scattered and messed up you'll get distracted easily. Having a burger on your reading table won't help you at all. Have a clean and clear table, this means putting your things in place. It makes you feel better and focused.

4. Create a study group:
This is where those friends you made in school comes in. Now if your friends are all about parties and clubs, they definitely won't come with you to read. Reading do get boring must time. Trust me darling, I understand. So like I said earlier, pick friends with similar goals. They'll be damn happy to come read too. Just make your studies fun with the study group you've Made.

How to make your battery last longer.


Everyone now uses a mobile phone, dumping the old land line system. Yeah, it's pretty much a piece of cake moving with mobile phones right?. Not just that, with other programs and features it's got, social networks, Google and all what nuts, you know them. These phones seem to be increasing rapidly in its features and use. So, what the heck, why kill yourself with a land line!.

Life isn't a bed of roses right?. So, even with these privileges, they'll definitely have their own problems too. Weak batteries is one of them, fortunately they've been proven ways to put a stop to that problem and slizzed is happy to share it with you.

REDUCING THE CHARGING TIME.

1. Switch of your phone:
Just your phone being on drains battery, your phone searches for close by networks and this act only consumes battery. Add this to the background apps too, then you'll have your phone running off within an hour or so. Keeping your phone off while charging it helps to make the charging faster and not just that, it also makes your battery last longer. Note: you should only do this when you don't plan on using the phone for those few hours. Slizzed wouldn't be happy if you miss any important calls or text.

2. Don't search for signal:
If your in an area with no reception, I'd advice you put your phone in airplane mood. Like I mentioned earlier, when phones search for signals it drains it's battery. However, if you're expecting a call or something, or you wish to use the phone later. Getting a cell repeater would be really helpful. A cell repeater's job is to amplify your receptions service to give you a signal anywhere. This will prevent your phone from searching for reception and with this, it's serving it's energy too.

3. Don't let your phone run till its dead:
Lithium-based batteries are quite different from nickel-based batteries. It's ok if you let your nickel-based rechargeable batteries run off, you can simply recharge it and everything's good. Well it's not easy getting them low at the first place. Lithium-based batteries is what present phones uses and, it's not ok letting it run till its dead. Doing this will damage your battery. Slizzed suggest you use the battery less and more of charging, this will prolong your batteries life.

4. Turn off the phones vibration, use ring tones instead:
You would agree with slizzed, phones use a lot of battery to vibrate. Hold your phone while it's vibrating, it even has enough energy to make your whole hand vibrate. Creating this much vibration isn't easy at all. So to serve battery, keep the ringtone as low as possible and the vibration off.

5. Use less of your phones features:
Your out for a trip and you forget your car charger home, yet you don't want your phone to go off cause your expecting some important calls. Using your phones Internet connection, taking pictures or using flashlights ain't helping the case at all. If you know your next charging time is far. Try minimizing the features you use.

6. Use black backgrounds:
If possible, use black backgrounds instead of white. It takes much more energy to display a white screen. Conserve your battery by using black backgrounds. Apps like blackl have this feature. It displays a black background for Google instead of white too.

7. Use GSM rather than 3G:
GSM also known as 2G is a network which usually displays "E+" at your network bar when data connection is on. The other, 3G displays "H+". 3G consumes battery too since it's composed of two different networks. That's 2G and itself combined. You could check your phones spec, when comparing 2G and 3G in term of battery life, 3G usually consumes 50% more. So, you'd rather use 2G instead.

8. Don't leave your Bluetooth on:
Bluetooth also drains battery. Try using it less. Switching it off immediately when not in use is better.

9. Don't make too long calls:
You were trying to make some findings about something you find really important on Google then, suddenly a call comes in. It's best you talk less if you don't want your phone getting off on you while making your findings. So try as much as possible to keep your calls short if you want to make your battery last longer.

10. Keep features like GPS, infrared capabilities and WiFi off:
These features in most phones are inbuilt, normally. They also drain battery when in use. So, if your not in need of them, just keep them off. It's best for you.

11. Reduce your phones brightness:
This case is similar to having black backgrounds. Keeping your phones brightness at its peak or even high a little consumes battery. Infact, just having your phone on drains battery. But, how will I reduce it right?. Most phones have in built feature of reducing it's brightness. Just use it wisely!.

12. Avoid animated pictures or videos for background:
They are moving and thats work, imagine yourself walking to and fro a particular distance for over an hour. That's a whole lot of stress right?. It's same with your phone. Those things moving inside it is taking its energy. So avoid animated photos or videos for a longer battery.

13. Switch off your backlight:
Backlight helps you see in dark places or where it's too bright. They too drain battery, but if your in place you can see clearly or where your not using your phone, why not turn off the Backlight. In some phones, doing this is possible, while in some all you get to do is reduce how long it can stay on. Choosing one or two seconds is sufficient.

PROLONG YOUR PHONES LIFE:

1. New batteries :
When you get a new battery ensure you charge it before use. It helps prolong battery life. A new nickel-based battery in normal circumstances is expected to be charge for 5-6hrs straight for it to get full while nickel-based is 16hrs. In most cases you'll see battery full when it's not even up to an hour since you plugged in the phone. This isn't right, just ignore the message and make your charging 5-6hrs or 16 hrs, however the case may be.

2. Don't use your phone till it offs:
If you wish to prolong your battery life. Endeavor to charge it when it's got one bar left. This is best as letting it go off damages your cell. This specially goes for lithium-based batteries.

3. Avoid making your battery hot:
Making a battery hot weakens it strength. Research shows batteries that are kept under room condition tends to last longer. If your fond of leaving your phone in the car, under direct sunlight or maybe in your pocket. Stop these, it weakens your battery. Also, if your battery gets hot while charging. Consider checking your charger, the fault will definitely be from it.

4. Keep your batteries in a safe condition:
Putting your battery in an airtight container when not in use is best. Infact slizzed suggest you put it in a refrigerator, not a freezer!, make sure it's in an airtight container before doing this. Research shows, lithium-based batteries are less conductive in refrigerated conditions. Do this to preserve it's energy and also don't keep them in conductive containers. An airtight rubber or plastic is best.

5. Charge your phone as recommended by manufacturer:
Use only the type of charger specified by the manufacturer as using another may result in your phone heating up. Also, if your manufacturer says, don't allow phone to discharge completely, listen to them. They know what's best. There are different conditions for charging of a nickel-based and a lithium-based batteries, find out which yours is. You can check the back of your battery or seek technical specifications in manual for references to know which battery your phone has.

6. Clean battery contacts:
If dirt accumulates at the points of contact between your battery and your phone, clean if off. Accumulation of dirt reduces efficiency of energy transfer. You should try using cotton wool and isopropyl alcohol to clean it. This helps prevent accelerated corrosion known as bimetallic or galvanic. But when using this solvent, be careful as it may dissolve the batteries plastic cage or house.

How to make your hair grow faster.



Hey buddy!, tired of that hair you've got that keeps on falling off or maybe grows really slow? . What ever the case may be, put a smile on that face cause your in the right place. Getting your hair to grow won't come as fast as you think. This is something you should have in mind, hairs take time to grow, sometimes a week or more. But don't let this weigh you down. Your case may differ!.

Getting your hair to grow real quick is all about fixing what makes your hair slow down at first, it may be hereditary, or maybe a deficiency, or something else. Different factors may cause this. YOUR DIET

1. Consume enough protein:
Hair is composed of keratin, a protein made up of amino acid, if you wish for your hair to grow, you'll need an adequate amount of amino acid intake which is gotten protein. So consume enough protein if you wish for your hair to grow faster. Sources of protein includes milk, egg, fish, beans, there are so many things that gives the body protein. Just find out.

2. Eat vitamin C rich foods:

For better results, I'll advice you combine your vitamin C rich foods with iron rich foods. You can get vitamin C from fruits like orange, guava, strawberries and pepper.


3. Eat adequate amount of zinc and iron :
Zinc helps your body to repair tissues, this includes hair too, they also help to keep the oily glands around your hair follicles at optimum condition. Iron too do play a vital role when it comes to hair grow, it transfers oxygen to your cells, in this case, your hair follicles. This helps your hair to grow quicker. You could get iron from sources like lean meat, egg and protein. If your a vegetarian, tofu, lentils and beans would do the trick. For zinc, taking peanut butter, lean meat, oyster would be ok. Deficiency of these can result in poor hair growth and may even result in hair loose. However, if your suffering from deficiency of iron and zinc, I'd advice you consult a health professional so you don't worsen the case.

4. Take vitamin B:
This prevents hair loose. It's best you consult a medical professional to be sure if you actually have a vitamin B deficiency cause, there are other factors that can cause your hair loose, it may not be vitamin B deficiency. Although vitamin B is not scientifically known to increase air growth. But, it has been a solution to many, so just give it a try, you may be fortunate too. Get vitamin B from lean dairy, lean meat, lentils, potatoes with pill and banana.

5. Include fat to your diet:
Healthy fat!. They are really important when it comes to hair, cause without it, your body cannot maintain a healthy hair. It is also important because, it helps the body to assimilate vitamins like A,D,E and K, which are essential for hair growth. As always, "too much of everything is not good", so limit the amount of fat you take, I recommend unsaturated fats and fatty acids like Omega 3.

MINIMIZING STRESS

1. Avoid stress and maintain good healthy :
Stress both physically and emotional can slow hair growth, in severe cases it may cause hair loss. Eat well and exercise regularly accompanied with enough sleep. Because, if your body is stressed it won't have enough energy to use for hair growth and development. Rather it will use it to repair organs and maintain more important body parts rather than grow your hair. This will make your hair malnurished and unprotected from diseases. Trust me you don't want this, so better get enough rest and food.

2. Manage your emotional stress:
Learn how to be ahead of emotional stess like loss of loved ones, change of work, or worrying too much about anything. When this is resolved, you've opened up a new ground for your body to produce new and healthy hair.

3. Patience:
Like I mentioned earlier, hair does take long to grow. So, be patient, even after adhering to the things above, it'll take your body up to a week or even more to show signs of improved hair growth. Unless you barbed off your hair completely, then you'll notice it!.

STYLING DAMAGE

1. Moderate your styling :
Too much styling of hair may result in slower hair growth. Probably because the means you used is too harsh for your hair. Techniques like perming, crimping, curling, bleaching, adding of colour and straightening of hair either chemically and physically should be done at a reduced rate, maybe twice a month would do, as overdo can result in poor hair growth, loss and even thinning of your hair. Also, combination of these techniques can damage hair too or make it thin. Although it is reversible, it'll take time since hair grows slowly. Prevention is better than cure!.

2. Do not brush your hair too often :
Twice a day is just perfect. When brushing, take your hair as if it were an egg or gold. Dragging it may result in pulling it out completely from its root. So, take it easy on your hair. Try as much as possible to stay away from anything that'll result in pulling your hair, just. For instance things like, using of rubber band to hold hair backwards, making of hair styles like tight ponytail as they'll pull your hair too. You can ask your hairdresser for alternate hairstyles that'll not pull your hair too much.

3. Use hair products :
You should condition your hair more often and do little of shampooing. But you should note, overdo of this can cause hair to lose moisture, making it prone to damage. You should also apply oily products gotten from coconut, avocado, almond and olive. I would recommend argan oils as there are known to condition hair without leaving remains. You should also avoid rapping your hair in towels.

How to make your teeth white within an hour.


It's everyone's dream to get a white and clean teeth. But the problem remains, how to achieve this. Most of us do not even know why our teeth get dirty at first, well I'm gonna expose that to you too.

There are different ways of getting your teeth white even in an hour, however most of them may seem too stressful. Don't worry just pick one method out of the three I'll discuss here.

USING HOME REMEDIES

1. Baking soda :
Otherwise known as sodium bicarbonate, this serves as a mild abrasive, this means means it can scrub stains off your teeth. Just wipe teeth and any remaining SALIVA on it. Wet your toothbrush and immerse it in baking soda (take a little amount). Then brush your teeth. Also, don't do this too often, maybe ones or twice a week is ok, as overuse of this will wear down the protective enamel of your teeth.

How to make your voice better.



A lot of people are faced with numerous problems when it comes to singing, probably flattening songs or changing keys, there are limitless things one can face when in comes to singing, so don't think your alone. Flattening the key seems to be a really big thing for most people . Well, don't blame them, it's not their fault. Anyways, What you'll get here can solve almost all your problems related to singing.

PUT YOUR BODY IN PLACE

1. Drink enough water:
The vocal folds can get pretty irritated if overused. This may arise from the milk you took, or probably that cooled water you drank. Too much of something isn't good. So is taking of too cold or too hot things, as they make the vocal folds tense up or irritated, as the case may be, either ways, none of them is good. The milk you take coats your throat, even that alcohol is bad!. I would advise you abstain from alcohol this is because it dehydrates you and your voice. After taking any of these things I've mentioned, that's if you can't abstain from it, endeavor to drink enough water as it will go a long way to hydrate your vocal folds. If this is on check then, your ready to go.


2. Breath down low:
Don't breath in with your stomach and exhale with just the top of your lungs. If you want to get a better voice, utilitize the whole of your lungs and diaphragm, breathing low and deep is best.


3. Tighten your diaphragm when singing :
This act makes your voice sound stronger and better. If you don't know where the diaphragm is located , refer to the picture above. However, if you wish to know more, look it up on Google.


4. Keep good postures:
Yes!, your posture has a lot to do with your voice. Your organs like, the lungs, vocal folds, diaphragm and so on gets affected when you've got a poor posture. So try your best and develop good posture. You can try this for starters, Keep both of your feet flat on the ground and imagine a string over your head, holding your body in line.


TRAIN YOUR VOICE

1. Practice breathing exercise :
The longer you can exhale the better your note will be, so practice exhaling for a long period. You can try breathing in for 4 sec and exhaling 8sec, multiple this figures by 4 till you get to 28. Don't give up. Practice make perfect!.


2. Warm up adequately :
You don't want to get stock while performing on stage. You can't go for a marathon without preparing. So, help your vocal folds out, they deserve it!. Prepare them for take off. They won't fail you!.

3. Practice your vowels :
How you pronounce words greatly affects the way you sound. Singing isn't like talking, even before one gives a speech they prepare. Go train your self, you'll definitely sound better!.

4. Try new things:
You may want to sing soprano at all cost but things aren't just going well for you at that lain. Try singing treble, your voice may only be trying to guide you to where you belong. Just listen to it.

5. Sing in range:
Yeah, that pitch is just too high for me. Don't take it personal, maybe it's not for your kind of voice. One thing you should know is, the voice is flexible. So try singing in range, not on stage though!. All experiments should be done privately. Do this private, don't be surprised how far you could go. Even if you may fail a few times. Don't give up, keep striving.

How to know your body type




Knowing your body type is very crucial in dressing cause, it'll determine what kind of clothes you should wear if you wish to fit into it perfectly. Not all kinds of clothes are meant for all types of body. So, the faster you discover what body type you've got, the better. Fortunately that's exactly what I'm gonna do here.

Note: All measurements taken should be carried out when your in pants and bra. This is to give you accurate results as clothes may add up to the results you get. 

All body types are determined by the size or width of your shoulders, Bust, Waist and Hips. So be careful, you don't want to get wrong results!.

Now it's time to start taking your measurements. Go pick up that measuring tape, head over to the mirror and start taking your measurements. Wait, you'll need someone to help you do this, your close friend would do.


1. Your shoulders :
Like I said earlier, you'll need someone to help you out. You'll need to hold the tape from one end of your shoulder, wrap it round to the other end and back to where you started. Now take down your readings.
