How to stay motivated in school.

Things have been going smoothly with you in school, started up quite well. You were having good grades and everything. Infact you started with all amount of determination. Then suddenly that zeal you got just burned out?. Usually it's not easy getting motivated again. There are a few things you've got to know in order to achieve this. That's exactly the things slizzed is gonna share with you.

CREATING VALUE FOR SCHOOL

1. Always think of how you want your life to be before going to bed:
Thinking about your future really helps a lot. Probably writing down the things you'd like to achieve when your an adult will help keep that fire burning. Just remember, you can't achieve these dreams you've got, without school.

2. Make fiends with same dream:
Try making friends with people you see have the same dream as you do. That's like someone you know likes school. Associating yourself with people that hate school will definitely make you hate school too. Just pick your friends wisely, they determine your future sweetheart!.

 PREPARING FOR SUCCESS.

1. Make a schedule for studying:
Draft out a time table for yourself. This doesn't mean, timetable for reading. This includes the things you'll do. Like shopping, going on an outing with a friend. Having an organised life is a really great step towards success in life, generally. So create a schedule for yourself, anything you didn't plan for, don't do it!. Except it's an emergency.

2. Maintain your schedule:
It's a piece of cake drafting out a schedule no doubt. However, adhering to it is quite difficult. Get a calendar or maybe you could use your mobile phone. Set reminders for yourself, when the alarm goes off. Having created an imaginary future for yourself, thinking of that life should give you the courage you need to leave what ever your  doing and listen to the alarm.

3. Have a decent studying place:
If where you read is all scattered and messed up you'll get distracted easily. Having a burger on your reading table won't help you at all. Have a clean and clear table, this means putting your things in place. It makes you feel better and focused.

4. Create a study group:
This is where those friends you made in school comes in. Now if your friends are all about parties and clubs, they definitely won't come with you to read. Reading do get boring must time. Trust me darling, I understand. So like I said earlier, pick friends with similar goals. They'll be damn happy to come read too. Just make your studies fun with the study group you've Made.

TACKLING YOUR WORK

1. Do things in bit:
It's not necessary you finish that project or long script at a blow. Yeah, I know it's better you just finished it at ones. But, the issue here is, that project is quite important, it's not just for you to do it, it's for you to learn from it too. Going outside your comfort zone will only leave you frustrated. If you feel the work is too much. Split them into different stages and make sure you complete them. Don't permit even an itch of procrastination into your life.

2. Create a consequence:
This one means you've got to create some kind of way to punish yourself if you don't achieve the goals you set out. It's self discipline, this helps you stay on track when you remember the last punishment you gave yourself for not finishing the work. Probably not going for that party everyone is attending, thoughts of such things happening again should motivate you to work hard.

3. Tell people about your goals:
Letting people know about your plans, "I wanna get an A in maths this session" is perfect. When you know people do expect something from you. You wouldn't wanna let them down. It's just a natural phenomenon. So, honey, go tell dad, mom, friends about that grade you plan on getting this session.

4. Reward yourself:
It won't be fair if you only get to punish yourself for not getting something done. So, also reward yourself when you get your schedule completed. This also serves as a motivation as you'll be looking forward to getting yourself rewarded. Watching your favorite show after 2hrs of studies or having the whole weekend off after getting an A is nice.

GETTING FOCUS AND CONCERNTRATION.

1. Meditate:
Distractions are things everyone is bound to face in life. Students are also inclusive. So now, how to overcome it is the issue at hand. That's where meditation comes in. Meditation helps to clear your mind off the things that distracts you. Set off 15 minutes before studies. To meditate all you need do is,
a. Find somewhere quiet
b. Seat with your legs crossed in a comfortable position
c. If you can't be stable, support your back with the wall.
d. Close your eyes and focus on the darkness you see.
e. Think of nothing
f. Do these for 15 minutes, when it's over, get to work.

2. Use summary to learn:
Summarizing a topic helps a lot. It exposes you to the important things you have to learn underneath the Grammer you see in your textbooks. Learn to summarize what you've learnt. It helps for reference purposes too.

3. Mindless tricks:
It's a normal thing for everyone to get bored but, it's bad when your having your classes. A good way of getting back on track when you've lost concentration maybe while reading in class is by doing something you usually don't do. Licking your thumb, wiggling your toes can do the trick.

4. Counting backwards:
You'll certainly need to concentrate before you can accomplish this. Counting backwards from hundred is a good way of getting you back on track when you've lost concentration.

5. Try exercising a little bit:
Research shows exercise helps blood to flow to the brain. This actually means you'll perform better, that's, your brain gets to grab things much faster. A little jumping, skipping is ok. Just find something you know you can do easily in your room, don't get yourself sweaty!.

LIFESTYLE CHANGES

1. Get enough sleep:
Sleeping for atleast 8-10hrs not only helps you grow, but, it also helps you get strong for school the next day. Slizzed knows you probably think school is really stressful, it's just what teenagers think!. This is so cause teenagers prefer staying up late or sleeping late. However, this only results in making you tired the next morning. This will definitely make you sleepy and the only thing holding you against your will is, school. So why won't you hate it. Try developing a new habit of sleeping early, this will make you ready and prepared for school the next morning. Not having your siester would make you tired enough to make you feel sleepy at night.

2. Eat a balanced diet:
Food if inadequate can actually make you tired and stressed out. Loss of concentration may also be a side effect!. So try to have your meal each morning before school to stay strong throughout your classes. Most food also help In increasing brain power. Trust me you'll definitely need them.
