1. Recovery settings or clockworkmod recovery:
If your phone has soft-bricked, all you gotta do is clear the phones cache. To do this, you'll need to off the phone first then power it on again. When powering it, hold the volume down button too. This should direct you to clockwork mode recovery, you'll know this as it will be the header of the pop up screen. 2. Navigation:
Now after you've been directed to the clockworkmod recovery page, you'll need to navigate and click "wipe data/factory reset". You use the volume up and down to navigate either upwards or downward respectively. The power button is used to select a file.

(a) . Find and click advanced.
(b) . Now click "wipe dalvik cache"
(c) . Next, click "wipe cache partition".

After successfully reseting factory settings, you'll need to reboot your phone, most phones do this automatically. These steps should work well in taking your phone back to its proper working State.
